The All Access Beachbody On Demand Challenge Pack & Membership

I am so excited to kick off the New Year with the Health Bet accountability group, but with the latest news about the ALL ACCESS on demand Challenge pack this New Year just got EVEN better!

Crockpot Butternut Squash Soup

Crockpot Butternut Squash Soup

I got a TON of butternut squash on sale and it keeps really well here in PA if I just put it in a box in the garage, but I needed a easy meal and 
soup just goes perfect with a cold Pittsburgh day! 

Add fresh apple for a twist on a classic restaurant favorite you can make your own kitchen with the help of the slow cooker. 

For extra ease, buy peeled and pre-cut squash—or DIY if you have time!


lb butternut squash, peeled and cubed (about 6 cups)
large apple, peeled, chopped 
cup chopped onion 
teaspoon salt
teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne) (I used red pepper flakes to make it spicy)
1 1/4
cups low-sodium chicken broth (from 32-oz carton) 
3/4 cup Almond Milk mixed with & 1/3 cup butter melted (healthier -heavy whipping cream)

  • Make It: 
  • Step #1 Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add all ingredients except whipping cream.
  • Step #2 Cover; cook on High heat setting 4 to 5 hours.
  • Step #3  Pour half of the squash mixture into blender. Cool 5 minutes. Cover; blend until smooth. Pour into 8-cup measuring cup or large heatproof bowl. Repeat with remaining squash mixture. Return squash mixture to slow cooker. Stir in whipping cream.
  • Step #4 Cover; cook on High heat setting about 5 minutes or until heated through.

Happy Anniversary as a Beachbody Coach

As I sit here today I can not imagine my life without this business! It's crazy to think over the last five years how my life has been blessed as a beachbody coach.

Never did I think that a P90X purchase before my wedding and dusting it off and finally finding motivation to do it in a challenge group would lead me to this!

I have been able to change my health, my finances, my freedom and surround myself with some of the most motivating people I have ever met!

Brian and I have been able to take vacations without using a credit card, pay off debt, and set BIG goals together for our future!

Money, vacations, debt payoff… all that set aside, becoming a Beachbody Coach has given me a true passion. A real outlook on my life, and where I want to go and what I want to be.
I have learned so much about myself and others over the last five years. I have created relationships with my coaches and my challengers alike that are relationships that I can keep with me forever.

I have some of the most amazing friends in this business, and my coaches: Team Evolve, they are my family. There’s more to this business than the glitz, the glam, the money… it’s about life lasting relationships, finding your true passion, having freedom, living your life by your design, and reaching to help others and meet NEW people every single day. I am blessed to have this opportunity and this life.

Beat the Holiday Cookie Table with My Favorite Shakeology treats!

A life without dessert is like…well, a life without dessert! Just because you’re following the 21 Day Fix, Country Heat or Core De Force meal plan or fueling your body with healthy foods, it doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the sweeter things in life.

 From cookies, brownies, to protein balls, these holiday treats will keep your sweet tooth satisfied without sabotaging your fitness and nutrition goals

Gingerbread Balls

Serves: 12 servings, 1 ball each
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¾ cup dry old-fashioned rolled oats, gluten-free
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp. ground cloves
  • 1¼ cups pitted dates, packed
  1. Place almond flour, oats, Shakeology, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a food processor; pulse until mixture is the consistency of flour.
  2. Add half of dates; pulse until well blended.
  3. Add remaining dates; pulse until mixture forms a uniform dough.
  4. Shape dough into 12 walnut-sized balls; place in airtight container.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Shakeology Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars

The classic flavors of chocolate and peanut butter meld together in this brownie-like treat. Don’t have Shakeology? Message Me for Details and ways to save on your order. 
Total Time: 3 hrs., 10 min.
Prep Time: 10 min.
Cooking Time: None
Yield: 8 servings, 1 bar each
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 scoop whey protein powder
½ cup all-natural peanut butter
½ ripe medium banana, mashed
Nonstick cooking spray
1. Combine Shakeology, oats, and Whey Protein Powder in a large bowl; mix well.
2. Add peanut butter and banana; mix well with a spatula or clean hands.
3. Place in an 8 x 8-inch pan that is lightly coated with spray. Cover with plastic wrap and press down to flatten into pan. Freeze for 3 hours.
4. Cut into 8 bars.
21 day fix: 1/2 yellow 1/2 red 1 1/2 spoons

Five Travel Friendly Healthy Habits

If you are one of those that travel for work, living out of a suitcase and dining out most days, then you understand how difficult it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  While it’s not impossible, it can be challenging. By implementing a few travel friendly healthy habits, you can easily maintain your healthy lifestyle when you travel without a lot of stress.

  • Start your day early and get your workout in first. It will give you the boost you need for a long day ahead. Most hotels have gyms with treadmills and weight machines, but there may not be enough equipment for everyone wishing to use it. No worries, you can work out in your hotel room with a few resistance bands. They pack easily into any suitcase and take up very little room. If you are a Beachbody member, take advantage of Beachbody On Demand, the members only streaming workouts library.  You can do any of them in the comfort of your hotel room by logging in with your laptop.

  • Make healthy food choices while dining out. Restaurants are jumping on the healthy lifestyle bandwagon and offering what they can for healthy options. There are usually dinner salads available or order grilled chicken rather than fried.  You can always ask to switch out the rice or potatoes for an extra serving of veggies and ask to have the veggies steamed rather than sautéed. This will save on calories and oils you don’t need.  If you can, opt for a salad for lunch too, you will at least be getting a good serving of greens for the day.  Most importantly, skip the cheeseburger and fries.  I have some REALLY awesome tips for dining out, here.

  • Pack a healthy soy free meal replacement. Let’s face it, travelling and eating restaurant food can really mess up your system. You can’t always be certain that you are getting the nutrients you need or you that will be, ahem, regular. A meal replacement like Shakeology will help combat that. It replenishes the nutrients you need and helps with any digestive issues that may creep up. Most flavors are available in single serve pouches making it easy to take along with you. It’s a smart alternative to a heavy calorie laden breakfast.  You can shake it up in a blender bottle, or ask a barista at the hotel coffee shop to make it extra yummy with their blender.

  • If you find yourself at the bar with colleagues opt to skip the alcohol. First, alcohol is just a bunch of empty calories with no nutritional benefit.   • End your day with a bit of meditation. It will help clear your mind and foster a great night’s sleep. Just taking five minutes will help you unwind and destress after a busy hectic day of meetings and presentations.
