  1. When you get confused on how to measure or track a "mixed" meal, Page 70 in the Eating Plan book is a section that I found helpful as a restaurant guide and the Fix Mixed food guide.
    Hope this helps.

  4. New to 21 Day fix and trying to figure out my first meal plan for week 1. Is this 1 red (greek yogurt) and 1 yellow (treat)?

  5. With the 21 day fix you can replace a yellow container three times a week with a treat. The yogurt is a red container. With the chocolate it counts as a yellow.

  7. Super tardy to the party here. Can you clarify? Are we using 1 red worth of yogurt in this recipe or 1 yellow? I ask because it says to mix it in the yellow but the red container is bigger than the yellow one. The yogurt wouldn't fit... I have been using the red to measure the yogurt, mixing it in a green, and counting it as 1 yellow. It's just 1 yellow total right? Not 1 red PLUS 1 yellow? Thanks!!

    1. It is considered a 21 Day fix "treat" with the chocolate chips. This can replace 1 of your 3 yellow container treats for the week. Measure the greek yogurt in your red container and I add it to a bowl to mix.
Count it as 1 Red, 1 Spoon & a yellow for the chocolate chips.
      * The yellow is a treat so it replaces a yellow in your day, not a yellow container full of chocolate chips. So if you didn't add the chips it would only count as 1 red and 1 spoon. I hope that helps! :)

  8. 1 spoon is supposed to be a teaspoon, but the recipe says tablespoon - is it supposed to just be a teaspoon or a full tablespoon? Thanks!

  9. Is it dark chocolate or milk chocolate? My coach said you have to use only dark chocolate but every recipe I read states just chocolate chips and doesn't clarify. TIA

  10. I noticed the ingredients said 3/4 cup yogurt, but the instructions said to put it in the yellow container which is only 1/2 cup. So is the 3/4 cup a typo?

    1. The yellow container is for carbs. Since the ingredients mixed here are considered a cheat on the fix it 1 of your 3 weekly yellow container cheats. Use 3/4 cup yogurt

  12. Late to the game here, but I make this with greek yogurt, 2t PB, 1t honey, 1t vanilla, 1T milled flax seed, 1/2 banana and 1T dark chocolate chips. The container counts are 1 red, 2 teaspoons, 1/2 orange, 1 purple and 1/2 yellow, as per Melanie Mitro's recipe. Counting this concoction as a treat yellow is absurd given the high amount of protein and small amount of chocolate chips. Plus, from what I can gather from the Beachbody blog, 1 tsp of honey or maple syrup a day is free.
